The Seat Ibiza Ecomotive has been highlighted as an environmentally-friendly choice.
A new model from Seat may appeal to drivers keen to improve their green credentials. The Ibiza Ecomotive has been highlighted by the manufacturer as an environmentally-friendly choice because it releases 98 g/km of carbon dioxide and offers fuel economy of up to 94.1 mpg.
Motorists were reminded the car's low emissions mean owners do not have to pay road tax.
Drivers could also save money at the pump as a result of the vehicle's efficiency.
Seat stated its whole cost-effective range is proving popular under the government's scrappage scheme.
Head of marketing Steve Robertson said: "Our portfolio of already attractively-priced models is capturing car buyers' imaginations as they look to maximise style, value and driving pleasure."
The Ibiza Ecomotive is available for £9,605 under the initiative - some £2,000 less than its list price.
However, people may find it is even more cost-effective to opt for a used Seat Ibiza instead.
