Fiat Professional will highlight two new vans at the 2010 Food & Drink Logistics Show.
The newly-launched Fiat Doblo Cargo and the mini-van Fiat Fiorino are ready to tease the eyes of show spectators.
The Doblo Cargo will hit the UK showrooms this month and seems certain to be an attention-grabbing prospect for visitors expected at the event, which will take place at the Birmingham NEC on 21-24 March.
The engine line-up of Doblo Cargo consists of a 1.4-litre 16v 95bhp petrol unit plus three MultiJet 16v diesels, which include 2.0 (135bhp), 1.6 (105bhp), and 1.3 (90bhp). These specs aim to charm smaller drink and food transport companies.
Additionally, standard equipment across the whole range, including power steering, height adjustable steering wheel, ABS anti-lock brakes, central door locking, and electric front windows, will make it a good option. The Doblo Cargo 1.4 16v starts at 11,195 pounds for the basic model.
Also appearing at the show is the Fiat Fiorino, which was named the 2009 Van of the Year. It is powered by a good choice of engines - 75bhp 1.3 MultiJet turbodiesel and 73bhp 1.4 petrol - and provides comfortable, safe and economical motoring. The price range of Fiorino Cargo 1.4 8v 75 starts at 9,085 pounds.
This is a new show to the calendar, but one which we feel is important to us, Fiat Professional Director Gerry Clarke remarked. The food and drink logistics industry is a huge market and we are confident we can offer vehicles that are perfectly suited to this kind of work.
