Fiat has collaborated with fashion brand DIESEL to produce the new special edition 500CbyDIESEL, which is now available across UK showrooms.

Based on the Fiat 500C, this convertible version was born from collaboration between Fiat's Centro Stile engineers and fashion designers from DIESEL. The car has been fine tuned with the introduction of new colour scheme - the Midnight Indigo Blue, a reminiscent shade of stone-washed denim jeans.

The 500CbyDIESEL is available in a choice of three engines - the 1.4-litre and 1.2-litre petrol units and the 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel. Also available in DIESEL Green and Crossover Black, there is the option of ivory, red soft top and black colours.

Other features that made the 500CbyDIESEL distinctive include 16" special alloy wheels with DIESEL logo, rear moulding with the DIESEL logo, side pillar moulding embossed with the DIESEL logo, brake callipers painted yellow, and specific leather steering wheel with yellow stitching. Also included are special DIESEL branded upholstery in yellow and denim fabric stitching, DIESEL logo on the gear lever knob, as well as side rubbing strips, mirrors, door handles, and front and rear bumper inserts finished in specific burnished metal.

In addition, the car will also be fitted with rear parking sensors and automatic climate control as standard.

"The 500byDIESEL took the automotive and fashion worlds by storm last year, and we are delighted to be able to do it again with a 500C version", said Elena Bernardelli, Fiat Group Automobiles UK & Ireland's marketing director.

"All the stylish details, combined with the 500C Lounge product features, make the Fiat 500CbyDIESEL the perfect choice for style lovers!"

Pricing for the new 500CbyDIESEL starts from £14,865 on-the-road for the 1.2-litre model, and rise to £16,265 on-the-road for the 1.4-litre version up to £17,265 on-the-road for range topping 1.3-litre MultiJet model.
