Ford Galaxy crowned top MPV

The Ford Galaxy has been crowned as the best MPV by readers of BusinessCar magazine.
Readers of BusinessCar magazine have decided that the Ford Galaxy is top of the pile when it comes to multi-purpose vehicles.The Galaxy has won the MPV of the Year award for the third year in succession from the magazine, with a host of new features combining to enhance its appeal.
Among the new features of the seven-seater are the option of a 2.2-litre diesel engine, alongside USB connectivity and a new Sony CD player with DAB radio.
Tristan Kelly, the editor-in-chief at BusinessCar, said: "This third MPV win in a row for the Galaxy shows the high regard it holds in the business car community.
"The recent additions of a new diesel engine and all-important automatic gearbox will only enhance the Galaxy's appeal during 2009."
Meanwhile, a review of the Ford Galaxy by Jason Dawe in the Times states that the vehicle has "set new standards" for the MPV market.
This is because passengers are offered more interior space, an improved driving experience and better safety.
