Ford Galaxy has two special attributes

Ford Galaxy has two special attributes

26 January 2009

The Ford Galaxy is blessed with a lot of room and offers the best driving experience.

Taking advantage of a good deal on a Ford Galaxy could be a wise idea for used car drivers, according to a review.

A test of the vehicle in the Sunday Times revealed there were two attributes that made the Galaxy "special", offering potential buyers with some plus points.

The first was that it shared its platform with the Ford Mondeo, offering the best driving experience in its class and the second was that there was a vast amount of space available inside.

Seven adult-sized seats were fitted inside, alongside a boot that could "carry all of life's luggage".

Also, taller people would not find themselves crouched over as both the headroom and legroom was "generous".

Buyers of the Galaxy could also be safe in the knowledge that the vehicle came with alloy wheels, air-conditioning and myriad airbags, including one for the driver's knees.

Overall, the review states that "the latest Galaxy has set new standards for large MPVs with more space, better safety and a much improved driving experience over its predecessor".

Some 70 litres of useable capacity space comes as standard with the Ford Galaxy.
