Ford has launched its Fiesta Sport+ after its earlier version settled well into the market with over 350,000 sold vehicles in its first year.
This new model adds a much more sportier look to the Ford Fiesta, which would be appreciated by modern drivers.
The Ford Fiesta Sport+ utilises the same engines used in the Fiesta Zetec S, either a 94bhp 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel or an 118bhp 1.6-litre Duratec petrol.
Externally the car is noticeable for its GT40-style stripes. Aside from the stripes, the Fiesta Sport+ has a new bodykit with new side skirts, front bumper and rear spoiler, which are features closely related to that of the Fiesta RS.
The interior of the car is given the Sport+ look with the leather-covered gear knob and steering wheel, and leather sports seats. There is blue stitching on the dash, seats and also at the edge of the floor mats.
Fiesta Sport+ is available in two colours, the Performance Blue with white stripes, and Frozen White which comes with Performance Blue GT with stripes on the flanks, bonnets and roof.
The Ford Fiesta Sport+ will only be available in Switzerland, Spain, Austria, and the UK and Ford has not yet released the prices for the new model.
