Good marks for MINI Clubman
2 November 2009"Good marks" were achieved in various categories by the MINI Clubman in a recent review.
The Washington Post gave the model a once-over and looked at its ride, acceleration and handling, awarding praise for each aspect of the driving experience.
For those who are not sure what makes the Clubman different from other models in the range, it has a longer body and a different layout.
In March this year, the manufacturer unveiled the MINI One Clubman, which it described as providing "go-kart handling".
News of the review comes a few weeks after MINI announced a visit to its plant in Oxford by business secretary Peter Mandelson.
He took a trip to the site to see two concept cars recently unveiled - the MINI Coupe and the MINI Roadster - and commented on the country's love for the vehicle.
This year is the model's 50th birthday.
