Good news for Suzuki and its clients
12 April 2012
Suzuki GB PLC announced that the first quarter registration figures of its vehicles rose 12.5% to 7,711 units in the UK as compared with Q1 2011. Last month's registrations also climbed 19.5% to 5,941 cars bringing the carmaker's March market share in the country to over 1.5%, affirming the popularity of Suzuki's small but fuel efficient cars.
The Japanese carmaker also revealed that it will continue its VAT free campaign until the 30th June for SZ2 models of Swift, Splash and Alto. The carmaker is the only brand that offers three different models from its line-up at less than £9,000.
Suzuki Financial Services is also extending until Q2 2012, its popular Personal Contract purchase (PCP) offers, which are aimed at car buyers aged 18 to 35 and those who are seeking cars with an affordable deposit and low monthly payments.
For example, the Alto SZ2, which is priced from £6,666 can be purchased with a deposit of £466 and 42 monthly payments of £125, then a final payment of £2,468. In addition, this model is presently the most inexpensive vehicle with its low combined fuel economy of 64.2 mpg and Group 4E insurance classification.
Moving up the line-up, the Suzuki Splash SZ2 1.0-litre, which is priced at £7,777, can be purchased with a deposit of £777, 42 monthly payments of £139 and a £2,846 final payment. The PCP offer for Swift SZ2 (£8,888) is £599 deposit followed by 42 monthly payments of £159 plus a final payment of £3,535.
