Green Audi A4 may wow new and used car owners
10 July 2009
Audi is to release a green version of the A4 in October.
New and used Audi drivers keen to improve their green credentials may be impressed with the latest offering from the manufacturer. The A4 2.0 TDIe is a new addition to the company's eco-friendly range and joins the A6 2.0 TDIe and A3 1.9 TDIe.
According to the carmaker, the vehicle could help motorists minimise their impact on the environment in a number of ways.
First of all, the auto boasts a Driver's Information System - which offers the person behind the wheel advice on the most fuel-efficient times to change gear and how to get the maximum number of miles to the gallon, while taking into account conditions outside.
Secondly, the vehicle comes with start-stop technology that automatically turns the engine off when the car comes to a standstill.
The auto boasts CO2 emissions of 120 g/km and is capable of 61.4 mpg.
When it is released in the UK in October, motorists will be looking at paying a minimum of £23,240.
However, people may find they can get a more competitive price on a used Audi.
