Honda gears up to unveil a new three-wheeler concept vehicle, seemingly taken out of a sci-fi movie, at next weeks Geneva Auto Show.
The stylish three-wheeler referred to as the Honda 3R-C, is a completely new design that aims to radically change the way automobile industry looks at three-wheelers. A single-seater, Honda 3R-C is an environmentally friendly machine that draws its driving force from an easily chargeable electric power pack.
Honda say that they are aiming to charm the low-end urban commuters with their new chic 3R-C.
This years Geneva Auto Show, due to be held next week, will no doubt be remembered for several reasons. One of which is that more concept cars are being showcased than ever before, with the Honda 3R-C being the latest addition to the shows continuously growing list of green automobiles.
The Honda 3R-C has an enclosed capsule that will make the vehicle an all-weather motoring option, and a third wheel to guarantee convenience and safety. Its clear canopy also serves as cover while the vehicle is parked.
In front of the drivers seat is a storage cell, which houses the electrical powertrain complete with a motor and a battery pack. The power cell comes with a lock to ensure the safety of the pack.
Hondas new three-wheeler design combines economy and mobility in motorbike innovation. The addition of the third wheel and canopy makes the 3R-C an ideal vehicle for those individuals who suffer from mobility problems yet wish to experience the fun of using a bike and the convenience of using a car.
