Honour may boost used Ford Fiesta sales

The Northern Group of Motoring Writers has named the Ford Fiesta as its auto of the year.
Sales of used Ford Fiestas may increase as a result of the car winning a recent award.The Northern Group of Motoring Writers has crowned the model auto of the year 2009.
Commenting on the vehicle, chairman Mike Torpey said: "It's a winner in every way."
He went on to say: "The new Fiesta is a real head-turner and a great drive, but even more than that, it gives good, honest value for money."
This is the tenth European honour the new version of the model has scooped since its launch this time last year.
Meanwhile, the car has also proved a hit with the UK's motoring public.
It is currently the best-selling auto in the country and has secured more scrappage orders than any other vehicle.
Motorists looking to purchase the car may find they can get a competitive deal on a used Ford Fiesta by searching online.
