08 July 2009
Vauxhall has revealed the Insignia VXR is due out in the UK in September.
Used Vauxhall drivers who have been impressed with the performance of their current autos may want to take a look at the latest addition to the company's range. The Insignia VXR comes with 19-inch alloys, Brembo brakes and colour-keyed callipers, as well as updated damper and bushing settings on both of the auto's axles.
It will be positioned at the top of its range and follows in the tyre tracks of motors like the Astra VXR and Corsa VXR.
However, it will be the first auto in the high-powered family to feature 4x4 technology.
Marketing manager Andy Gilson commented: "It's an ultra-fast performance saloon that will appeal to buyers who appreciate subtle yet distinctive styling, but who need to know that there's real substance below the car's metal."
Scheduled to arrive in showrooms this September, the vehicle will cost from £30,995.
However, people who cannot afford to shell out that much may find they can get a competitive deal on a used Vauxhall Insignia instead.
