Jaguar XF rules in the executive class
08 April 2009
The Jaguar XF has claimed another accolade after being crowned 'Best Executive Car' at an awards ceremony from What Diesel magazine.
For the second year in the succession the Jaguar XF has been classed as the 'Best Executive Car' at an awards ceremony.Last year, the XF was crowned as the overall 'Car of the Year' at the What Diesel magazine awards and this year it has proved its worth again in the executive car segment category.
Among the aspects of the vehicle that may have been appreciated by those making the decision are its rapid acceleration, 19-inch wheels and its aerodynamic boot lid spoiler.
Ian Robertson, editor of What Diesel magazine, said: "The Jaguar XF is a deeply satisfying car to drive, with a stunning interior design that renders most of its opposition outdated."
Geoff Cousins, UK managing director at Jaguar Cars, added that the "diesel market accounts for 80 per cent of XF sales in the UK".
The Jaguar XF is no stranger to being in the winner's circle having already scooped around 20 accolades including the Top Gear 'Limo of the Year'.
Used car fans can already take the opportunity to order the 2010 Jaguar XF model, although customer deliveries of the vehicle will not begin until March.
