The Land Rover Discovery has been voted as the best Used 4x4 by a magazine.
Parents looking for a cheaper 4x4 to cart their family around, may wish to look at the Land Rover Discovery 3, after it was voted Best Used 4x4 by What Car? Magazine. The award looks into the price, performance, availability, desirability and reliability of cars in the field and it was decided the Land Rover was the most consistent in these departments.
Finishing in second place in the awards was the Nissan X-Trail, with the Kia Sorento in third.
Matt Sanger, used car editor at What Car?, said: "The Discoverys credentials are impeccable. Designed and built by the most famous 4x4 company in the world it's extremely capable in the rough, yet extremely comfortable on the road."
John Edwards, managing director at Land Rover UK, added that the award was another great achievement for the vehicle.
However, many drivers looking at a second hand car whether it be a Land Rover or a Nissan may choose to avoid having a white vehicle, after findings from EurotaxGlass found that white cars remain a turn-off for used car owners.
