The Lexus 450h is the most eco-friendly vehicle in the premium crossover class.
A significant effort to improve environmental friendliness can be witnessed by used car fans on the upcoming Lexus RX 450h crossover.Changes to the Lexus Hybrid Drive system have allowed the manufacturer to cut CO2 emission to 148 g/km, which is far lower than alternate vehicles in the premium crossover class.
As well as being cleaner than the RX 400h, the vehicle also provides buyers with better mileage for their money.
The combined cycle consumption of the 450h has improved by 28 per cent, which means that drivers can now cover 44.8 miles per gallon of fuel.
In terms of its performance, the vehicle is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and two powerful electric motors that allow it to reach a top speed of 124 miles per hour.
Meanwhile, those looking for a fast getaway can push the vehicle to accelerate to 62 miles per hour from standstill in 7.8 seconds.
Writing a review of the Lexus 400h in the Times, Jeremy Clarkson stated that the interior of the vehicle was "nicely thought out".
