Starting this April, the limited edition of an enhanced HondaCivic Type R, which features MUGEN equipment, will be available in Honda dealers in the UK.

Starting this April, the limited edition of an enhanced HondaCivic Type R, which features MUGEN equipment, will be available in Honda dealers in the UK.

The MUGEN 200, which is inspired by the high-performance Honda Civic Type R made by MUGEN Euro, comes fitted with unique body parts, badges and wheels to provide its distinctive look. As indicated in the name, the company will only produce 200 units of this special Honda Civic Type R model.

The Swindon-built Honda Civic Type Rs standard features include its i-VTEC engine and Hondas 201PS. Aside from that, the new MUGEN 200 will feature exclusive MUGEN rear and front bumpers with skirts, Lightning design 19-inch alloy wheels, MUGEN limited edition number plaque, MUGEN rear badge, limited slip differential, gloss black door mirrors, and championship white exterior paint.

Dealer fit options that are available include an array of tuning parts that could further improve the chassis dynamics of this car.

The order line for this model will open in March. Prices will be announced at the same time.

The Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 is a continuation of the partnership between Northampton-based MUGEN Euro and Honda (UK). MUGEN Euro is a subsidiary of MUGEN, Hondas longstanding partner.

In 2009, MUGEN utilised its many years of experience and engineering expertise to further enhance the Honda Civic Type R and come up with the Honda Civic Type R MUGEN.
