Lotus Evora scoops iMotor award

Readers of iMotor magazine have crowned the Lotus Evora as the most highly rated car of 2008.
Used car drivers looking to purchase an award-winning vehicle may wish to consider a Lotus Evora.Readers of iMotor Magazine have voted the Evora as the most highly rated car of 2008.
All of the magazine's readers were given a host of cars to either 'rate or slate' and 95 per cent of 40,000 voters liked the car, the top percentage throughout the poll.
Mike Kimberley, chief executive of Group Lotus plc, said: "This award from iMotor readers is particularly special as it demonstrates that we have produced a car that already has a fan base amongst the cognoscenti, despite the car being a few months away from the sale date in the spring."
Other vehicles to be included in the poll include the Nissan GT-R and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
The Evora is capable of shifting from 0-60mph in five seconds, while having a 160-litre boot and a remote release glove box.
Drivers can also benefit from hydraulically-assisted power steering and an ABS braking system.
