Mazda Motors UK has launched a new Takuya special edition range for this summer, featuring high-levels of standard specifications and evocative styling representing great value for money to customers.

Now available across UK showrooms, the latest variants are available in Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 lineups and offer added value to buyers.

Priced from £11,915 OTR, the entry-level model Mazda2 Takuya is powered by a 1.3-litre engine generating 86 horsepower. It boasts 16" alloy wheels, front fog lights and a sports styling kit. Inside, the five-door car features trip computer, black sports trim, leather gear knob and steering wheel, Parrot Bluetooth hands-free kit and steering wheel remote audio controls. The hatchback returns combined fuel economy of 54.3mpg and emits just 125g/km CO2.

Moving up the range, the Mazda3 five-door Takuya boasts an impressive list of specification including 17" alloy wheels, LED lights, an integrated Bluetooth system, sports styling kit, automatic dual-zone climate control air conditioning, sports seats, six-disc CD changer, black cloth sports trim and rain sensing wipers and more. It is powered by a 1.6-litre engine producing 105 horsepower and boasts low-for-class CO2 emissions of 149g/km and combined fuel economy of 44.8mpg. The Mazda3 is priced from £15,780 OTR.

Last but not the least is the frugal Mazda6 Takuya, which is available in three guises- the 2.2D 163hp Estate (£21,595), the 2.2D 163hp five-door (£20,945) and the 2.0-litre five-door (£19,845). All three variants are fitted with 18" alloy wheels, dusk-sensing headlights and a sports grille on the exterior. Interior features include half-leather heated seats, alloy pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control air conditioning, auto-dimming rear view mirror, leather steering wheel and shift knob.

The 2.0-litre five-door version returns combined fuel economy of 40.9mpg and produces CO2 emissions of just 159g/km. Meanwhile, the two 2.2D 163hp models emit just 142g/km of CO2 and return an impressive combined fuel economy of 52.3mpg.

"The new Mazda Takuya range offers buyers genuine exclusivity, evocative sports styling and represents fantastic value for money", said Mark Cameron, sales and marketing director of Mazda Motors UK.
