Mazda to unveil anniversary vehicle in Geneva

Automaker Mazda is celebrating its 20th year by unveiling a new motor in Geneva.
Drivers of new and used Mazda cars may be interested in a special anniversary-edition vehicle which is set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.The carmaker announced that the new MX-5 20th Anniversary Edition will make its debut at the Swiss event in celebration of two decades of global success.
It is based on the 1.8-litre SE soft-top roadster and features special logos commemorating Mazda's 20th year, as well as 17-inch alloy wheels, silver-look fog lamp surrounds and a choice of three exterior colours - Aurora Blue, True Red and Crystal White Pearl.
In addition, the manufacturer is set to launch its new Mazda5 people carrier, which it described as "especially family-friendly".
Last year, Mazda UK noted that its Mazda2 was the most popular of its vehicles among British buyers.
The carmaker estimated that some 7,600 motorists took advantage of the government's scrappage scheme to purchase a Mazda car last year.
