Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG may impress drivers of new and used cars

Mercedes-Benz has claimed its new SLS AMG could become one of the most desirable sports cars around.
Motorists who tend to buy either new or used Mercedes-Benz models may be particularly impressed with the latest offering from the manufacturer.The group's SLS AMG is fitted with gullwing doors, which rise up when opened.
With a maximum speed of 197 mph, the model can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds.
This may make it even more surprising that the auto is capable of 21.4 mpg.
Mercedes-Benz pointed out this is the most impressive fuel economy of any model in the same class.
The company predicted the vehicle would come to be considered as "one of the most alluring sports cars of our time".
Dieter Zetsche, chairman of the board of management at Daimler AG, stated: "With the new SLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz is presenting a fascinating super sports car that will quicken the pulse of any car fan."
Meanwhile, the manufacturer recently claimed its electric BlueZero E-Cell Plus model is just as at home on long journeys as it is in busy urban environments.
