MINI has teamed up with the Energy Saving Trust as part of a "highly effective" driving programme.
MINI and BMW have announced their collaboration with the Energy Saving Trust as part of a "highly effective" motoring programme.Entitled Smarter Driving, it enables companies to teach employees various skills to help them complete journeys more efficiently.
The scheme is to be delivered via a firm called DriveSense - and the managing director of which, Dominic Marder, said it was happy to partner with the two carmakers.
Stephen Chater is corporate operations manager of BMW and also commented on what the course offers.
"We are delighted to be part of a scheme which benefits not only the drivers but their employers and the wider environment," he explained.
"The BMW Group fleet promises to offer participants a dynamic and engaging experience."
It is estimated that by using these driving techniques taught on the course, some £250 per employee per year can be saved on fuel.
Meanwhile, those who applied to test drive a MINI E may be looking forward to next month, when they can take the electric vehicle on the road.
The manufacturer said it was looking for people to try out 20 protoypes.
