New L200 special edition Trojan will feature a high-specification as standard.
Mitsubishi has announced plans to produce a special addition Trojan pick-up for its L200 range. The new vehicle specification will feature 16" alloy wheels, chrome door handles and privacy glass as standard.
Lance Bradley, Mitsubishi's director of sales and marketing, said: "We have decided to help our customers by offering them good looks, reliability and a high-specification at a great price, right from day one."
He explained that the introduction of the new Trojan, which will be available in the UK soon, is an alternative to offering "large discounts, which are only ever short-lived".
This will be the first time since 2006 that the Trojan model name has been used by the car manufacturer.
The new Trojan will offer a number of other value for money features, placing it just below the L200 Warrior range in terms of model specification.
Other features include chrome-heated folding electric door mirrors, climate control, a multifunction trip computer and four-wheel drive.
The L200 range was originally launched in 1987 and has won numerous awards, including Pick Up Van of the Year at the Professional Van & Light Truck Magazine ceremony in 2007.
