Motorists still looking for used Alfa Romeo models
28 July 2009
A recent auction has demonstrated the popularity of used Alfa Romeo models, BCA has suggested.
Used Alfa Romeo models are still proving popular, despite the economic downturn, if a recent auction is anything to go by.Organisers of the closed sale at BCA Measham revealed most autos went for more than their estimated values.
They claimed the group's 147 and 159 commanded impressive prices, with the Brera also attracting significant attention.
Alfa Romeo remarketing manager Simon Wheeler said: "We were delighted with the performance of our products at the sale - making this the fourth month running we have achieved exceptional results in a major closed auction environment."
In excess of 50 potential buyers attended the event in person - with an extra 35 joining in online - and the people in charge of selling the autos reported that bidding was brisk.
The sale also saw Fiat models go under the hammer.
Meanwhile, motorists who are thinking of treating themselves to a used Alfa Romeo may find there is a wide variety of choice online.
