New and used Bentley gathering declared a success

Last weekend saw the Bentley Drivers Club meet for its 60th anniversary at Silverstone.
One of the biggest gatherings of new and used Bentleys in the country happened at the weekend, it has been reported.The Bentley Drivers Club (BDC) held its 60th anniversary meeting at Silverstone on August 8th and 9th.
Attendees at the event saw 18 different races over the course of the weekend.
These challenges featured both Bentleys and autos built by other marques that had been invited to join in the celebrations.
Visitors who watched the races were able to see older models go up against more modern rivals.
Sebastian Walsh, competitions captain with BDC, commented: "This was surely one of the biggest gatherings of Bentleys of all ages you could ever hope to see."
He added: "It's the atmosphere that sets this meeting apart."
Meanwhile, owners of new and used Bentley models may want to check out a parts and accessories fair being held by the manufacturer this September.
