Fiat has developed a new accident management scheme.
New and used Fiat drivers are to benefit from a new accident management programme from the manufacturer, it has emerged. The firm has announced the launch of its Accident AfterCare programme, which is to be provided free to all customers.
According to the group, the service will be provided for all Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Professional new and used cars, with an aim to retain crash repairs in the manufacturer's dealer networks.
It also claims this will ensure a high quality of service and will guarantee the use of car parts made for the specific vehicles.
Whether the accident was the driver's fault or not, they will receive a courtesy car through the scheme.
Rob Calver, parts and services director for Fiat Group Automobiles UK, said business and profit improvement have been linked with a goal of improving customer satisfaction levels through the initiative.
"This is an excellent programme that will help ensure Fiat and Alfa Romeo customers receive a top quality bodyshop repair with the guaranteed fitting of genuine parts to maintain Euro NCAP crash safety standards," he remarked.
