New Gallardo Spyder offers breathtaking performance

The new Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder offers large changes to previous models.
Used car drivers looking for a vehicle that has a "fascinating design", "breathtaking performance" and extreme handling characteristics" are in luck as a new Lamborghini is set to hit the market.The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spider provides a whole improved level of performance over its predecessor thanks to a more powerful engine, permanent all-wheel drive and a new chassis.
To help deliver the power, the vehicle contains a new 5.2 litre V10 engine, weighs 20 kilograms less than its predecessor, takes four seconds to reach 62 miles per hour from still and can hit 124 miles per hour in an astonishing 13.1 seconds.
The vehicle also has a top speed of 201 miles per hour, with CO2 emissions still being reduced by 18 per cent for those concerned about its environmental impact.
Stephan Winkelmann, president and chief executive of Automobili Lamborghini, said: "The LP 560-4 is the next step in a huge success story.

Top Gear presenter and journalist Jeremy Clarkson announced in 2007 that he had bought a Gallardo Spyder.
