Vauxhall Motors second version of the Movano enters to the UKs light commercial vehicle market in a big way, combining ground-breaking technologies with economy and functionality.
The new Vauxhall Movano kicks off an ambitious drive by the British automaker to further augment its commercial vehicle line-up. Vauxhall is escalating its activities in areas where it has a remarkable and proven tradition of expertise, with astute plans to double Movanos annual sales volume in the UK.
The commercial vehicle market is of great strategic importance to us, Vauxhall Motors Managing Director Duncan Aldred said. The rejuvenation of our product offer in this important commercial vehicle segment clearly reflects our ambitions to grow in this area and to strengthen our market position.
The new Movano features a distinctive and powerful front end design with Vauxhalls signature style, including the horizontal chrome bar, and the trademark crease of the front hood. It has a wide range of body variants including panel vans, doublecab, crew cabs, chassis, platform and combi versions.
In the engine department, it has new-generation 2.3 CDTi engines that allow for low fuel emissions and consumption. The engines are conveniently available in three power outputs: 107 kW/146 PS, 92 kW/125 PS, and 74 kW/100 PS. There is also an optional 105-L fuel tank, which enables the new Movano to run at an operating range of nearly 875 miles.
The launch offer of Movano will definitely be hard to resists. Its starting price is only 20,250 pounds. The Movano Expression model, packed with a standard kit-a full bulkhead, and electric mirrors and windows-will start selling in May.
