Noise of the BMW Z4 is an attractive attribute

03 April 2009

A reviewer has stated that the BMW Z4 is at its best with the roof down.

Motorists looking to see the BMW Z4 should ensure that it gets driven with the top down, according to one reviewer.

Writing for the Telegraph, Jed Maxwell states that although the aluminium roof is a "show stealer", when the roof is raised drivers are robbed of the vehicle's great sound.

Mr Maxwell indicates that the noise created by the vehicle's 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine is one of its "most attractive attributes".

"It's only when you drop the top that you hear the all-aluminium straight-six in all its glorious woofliness", he remarks.

Another positive of the Z4 according to Mr Maxwell is the vehicle's interior, which is described as nicely built, while there is additional space and improved visibility.

Furthermore, he adds that among his most liked features of the model are its build quality and clever Drive Dynamic Control technology.

The engine also has the capacity to propel the Z4 to a top speed of 155 miles per hour, while it can accelerate from still to 62 miles per hour in 5.2 seconds.
