Number of green used Mitsubishi models may start to rise
07 August 2009
Mitsubishi has claimed improving its green credentials is a top priority.
Motorists may find there is a good range of environmentally-friendly used Mitsubishi models on the market in the coming years, if comments from the group are anything to go by.It has announced the ClearTec system that is currently available in the Colt will start appearing in many of its other autos in the near future.
Managing director Lance Bradley stated: "We have a great environmental message to tell at Mitsubishi and we are looking forward to the CO2 emission levels of our cars dropping considerably over the coming months."
The group's UK sales rose 57 per cent in July, compared with the same period last year - putting the company in the top ten firms with the most improved registration figures.
Of the vehicles sold, more than five per cent featured the ClearTec system.
Meanwhile, owners of used cars may find they can minimise the impact of their auto on the environment by taking it for regular servicing to ensure it is running at its most efficient.
