The order books for Audi's open-top R8 Spyder are due to open next month.
Motorists who swear by new and used Audi models may be excited to hear order books for the new open-top R8 Spyder are due to open next month.The auto made its UK debut earlier this week at the inauguration ceremony for the manufacturer's new West London retail outlet.
Commenting on the model, the carmaker said its V10 engine has "awesome potential".
It explained the vehicle can hit 62 mph in 4.1 seconds, before powering on to a maximum speed of 194 mph.
People who purchase the auto will find it also boasts a variety of standard features, including heated seats, all-LED headlights, DVD satnav, a Bang & Olufsen audio unit and leather upholstery.
It also comes with seatbelt-mounted microphones, which Audi claimed make it possible for occupants to conduct telephone conversations on the motorway with the top down.
Prices for the vehicle start at £109,580.
However, buyers looking for a more competitive deal may want to consider a used Audi R8 instead.
