APS of Brackley, the sole British importer for Swiss tuning company Sportec, has launched a new two stage performance enhancement programme for the 4.8-litre, four wheel drive Porsche Panamera Turbo. Initially, the four-door sedan produces 493bhp and 700Nm of torque, but Sportec’s engineers have built a pair of upgrade packages designed for drivers looking for additional performance.

Through the Stage One package, the Panamera can now have up to 560bhp and 790Nm under its hood. This power also allows the car to accelerate from 0–62mph in just 3.9 seconds, 0.3 seconds lower compared to the standard. Top speed is limited to 190mph.

These impressive figures are achieved following a bespoke Sportec ECU remap, with optimised configuring for ignition, fuelling and turbo boost parameters. The Sportec Stage One upgrade is priced at £2,900 (including 17.5% VAT).

Meanwhile, the Stage Two upgrade features the addition of a pair of sound throttles, a cat back stainless steel sports exhaust system and revised Sportec ECU remap. As such, the Stage Two converted Panamera can deliver 575bhp and 820Nm of torque. Testing has shown that the package can accelerate the car from 0-32pmh in just 3.8 seconds, with limited top speed maintained at 190mph.

Priced at £7,990 (including 17.5% VAT), the Stage Two upgrade is on sale now, along with the Stage One, at sole Britain concession APS of Brackley.

Additionally, a comprehensive array of exclusive Sportec upgrades for the facelifted Panamera range, such as braking and suspension upgrades, 22-inch forged alloy wheels and cosmetic enhancements, are also on sale now.
