Volvo Cars UK has announced full specifications and prices for the brand-new S60 sedan, which is now available for order with the first deliveries scheduled for August.
Volvo Cars UK has announced full specifications and prices for the brand-new S60 sedan, which is now available for order with the first deliveries scheduled for August. The mid-size sedans price starts at 23,295 pounds for the entry-model D3 ES and goes up to 36,745 pounds for the class-leading V70 T6 AWD SE.
The all-new S60 will be offered with either a petrol engine or two diesel engine varieties.
Customers can choose from either the newly-enhanced 3-L six-cylinder petrol engine which delivers 440 Nm of torque and 304hp; the twin-turbo D5 diesel powerplant, which produces 420Nm of torque and 205hp; or the newly-developed 5-cylinder 2-L D3 diesel engine which pitches 400Nm of torque and 163hp.
Standard features incorporated on all S60 models are the dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC) system, Whiplash Protection System (WHIPS), Side Impact Protection System (SIPS), Inflatable Curtain airbags and the City Safety system, which automatically brakes the car from maximum speeds of up to19mph if the vehicle in front stops.
Three trim levels are available; the SE, SE Lux and ES.
The entry-level ES is equipped with standard features: a cruise control, steering wheel remote audio controls, 5-inch colour screen, electronic climate control, 16-inch alloys, and leather gear stick and steering wheel.
The SE trim level gets extra features such as a Shimmer Graphite aluminium trim, High Performance Sound System, Vinyl /Tylosand textile upholstery, Autofolding Power Door Mirrors with Puddle Lights, Auto Dimming rear view mirror, 17 alloy wheels, watch dials, Rear Park Assist, rain sensor, and Bluetooth.
Last but not least, the SE Lux blends the specifications of the ES and SE and incorporates Active Bending Lights, leather-faced upholstery, headlamp cleaning and Power Drivers Seat & Memory.
