Record sales may mean increase in used Mazdas

Mazda saw increased sales volumes throughout September.
A boost in Mazda3 car sales could see a rise in the number of used cars from the firm on the roads.The manufacturer has noted all-time records for sales in a number of countries throughout September, including the UK, Portugal, Turkey and Tunisia.
Launched several months ago, the model exceeded its transaction projections, which resulted in retail volumes that stood at eight per cent above the expected figure for the month.
According to the firm, the UK set two monthly sales records. In terms of volume, some 11,400 vehicles were sold, which represented a 20 per cent increase.
Meanwhile the carmaker's market share rose to 3.1 per cent.
Furthermore, another record was set in Portugal, where the marque achieved a 2.9 per cent market share - the highest estimated monthly figure for the firm.
Germany also saw a good month for the company, with 6,692 units sold.
In related news, Mazda's new CX-7 is set for release next month, which may see people trade in their current models for the latest one - something that could boost the number of used cars on the roads.
