Following the Twingo Gordini 133, Renault UK is delighted to announce the launch of the new Gordini 200 in the British market. The car will appeal to customers who are looking for sporty yet luxurious small car with a distinctive French flair.

Based on the Renaultsport 200, the Clio Gordini 200 is finished in striking Malta Blue metallic colour with twin white racing stripes on the roof, tailgate and bonnet. Customers can also personalise their car with two other exterior colours available - the Glacier white featuring anthracite Gordini stripes and anthracite for the front blade and door mirrors, and Pearl Black with white Gordini stripes.

The front bumper sports a white F1-style 'blade' and a gloss black centre section, while the door mirrors are highlighted in white. This exterior styling is completed by 17-inch Gordini alloys with a black inner rim and polished face. 'Gordini Series' badging rounded off the sleek exterior design.

Inside, the same Gordini spirit continues thanks to dark grey leather Renaultsport seats with Gordini-embossed logo and blue details. The blue detailing continues on the Gordini-badged gearknob and gearlever gaiter. Meanwhile, the steering wheel is finished in dark grey and blue leather with two white stripes to highlight the centre point. The front part also features a white rev counter, air vent surrounds, fascia inserts and a centre console finished in black gloss.

The car is packed with features that have helped Renaultsport models a success including a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre engine producing 200 horsepower, fade-free braking with Brembo callipers, 'Perfohub' front suspension and a choice of two bespoke chassis with the 'sport' chassis' as standard and the 'Cup suspension' as optional.

Other features include climate control, anti-submarining airbags, curtain airbags, automatic headlight and wiper activation, speed limiter, cruise control, ESC, extra-tinted rear windows and Renault hands free card for automatic engine start and unlocking, among others.

Renault also offers other optional features, such as Carminat TomTom sat nav, Gordini wheels with a blue inner rim, Cup chassis, rear parking sensors and electric panoramic glass sunroof.

Clio Gordini 200 is scheduled to hit the British market this July, wearing a price tag of £19,650 OTR.
