Renault Clio Sport offers serious bite
13 October 2009
A motoring journalist has claimed the Clio Renaultsport provides "some serious bite".
Motorists looking for a small used car with "some serious bite" may want to consider the Clio Renaultsport.Journalist Nick Kurczewski has warned that people should not be fooled by the auto's cute exterior.
In an article for Car and Driver, he stated once the person behind the wheel puts their foot down the vehicle begins to "sparkle".
Compared with the standard Clio, the Sport version has an extended wheelbase and it features lots of aluminium to reduce weight.
Mr Kurczewski praised the auto's handling, stating: "The suspension is taut but never punishing - and you constantly feel in control of what is going on at every corner."
He claimed the vehicle may not impress "label-conscious car aficionados" but it offers a ride that could shame a number of prestige models.
In other news, the Renault Grand Scenic recently achieved fuel economy of 50.3 mpg at the 2009 MPG Marathon.
