Renault Sport Technologies has helped produce two fresh sporting variants of the new Megane - the GT and GT Line.
Introduced at the Geneva Motorshow last March, the Megane GT and GT Line are available throughout the Megane range - Coupe, Hatchback, Coupe-Cabriolet and Sport Tourer.
These latest versions boast genuine driving enjoyment and unique styling for every motorist as well as close the gap between the supreme performance of the Megane Renaultsport 250 and the mainstream Megane.
The GT version is powered by a 2.0 dCi 160 and 2.0 TCe 180 engines and combines interior details and a sporty exterior with an especially-tuned chassis, which is inspired by the concept of the Megane Renaultsport 250.
The GT Line, meanwhile, is an option pack offered on Megane Dynamique versions. It features a distinct chassis and is powered by Megane's core-range of ecological and economical engines.
Renault Sport considers Britain as a key market, with the nation attaining the biggest sales volume next to France. This success also underpins a healthy market for the GT and GT Line versions. Keen on the success and reputation of its current models, French carmaker Renault now offers a sporting option for every Megane body type.
The new Megane GT and GT Line show that motoring pleasure can be within customer means, and also act as eloquent examples of the company's new brand signature - 'Drive the Change'.
The new Megane GT and GT Line will be on display at UK showrooms in June. Pricing will be announced days before the scheduled release date.
