As the summer breeze continues to rise, the British division of Renault has turned up the heat to make its customers really sweat through the launch of the new cut-price Megane Generation.
Priced from only £10,995, ordering books for the new five-door hatchback version are now open across Renault's network of dealerships in the UK. The Megane Generation replaces the outgoing Extreme trim level in either 1.5 dCi 90 FAP diesel or 1.6 100 petrol guise. Both models are coupled with five speed gearboxes.
The launch of the new Megane is part of 'Vive Le Summer' promo of Renault, which has just commenced.
Retail cash buyers have the chance to drive home the new entry-level Generation 1.6 100 for just £10,995 OTR, which is £3,000 less compared to the recommended retail price. This offer is available for a limited time only.
Outside of the promo, the new Megane Generation and Extreme are priced at £13,995 and £15,755, respectively, which are still £860 less than their predecessors.
In spite of the enticing prices, the French carmaker guarantees that there has no any skimping on the standard specifications of the Generation. Included in its comprehensive list of features are cruise control, air conditioning, electric front windows and door mirrors, speed limiter, hands free keycard, a 4x15W radio/CD with aux input and fingertip remote controls, and Electronic stability control (ESC).
