Cristiano Ronaldo has written off his used Ferrari after crashing into a wall on his way to training with Manchester United.
The used Ferrari of Manchester United football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been left in a wreck, after colliding with a wall.Ronaldo was driving to training in his Ferrari 599 GTB, thought to be worth almost £200,000, from his home in Cheshire when the accident occurred in a tunnel near Manchester Airport.
The 23-year-old Portuguese international miraculously escaped from the incident unscathed and even took part in training after being cleared by club doctors at United's Carrington training base.
Police breathalysed Ronaldo at the scene and results came back negative, although the player could still face reckless driving charges.
A police source told the Daily Mail: "He was very lucky not to collide with other vehicles on the road in the crash and is even luckier to have escaped unharmed.
"It was a nasty crash and he could easily have suffered quite serious injuries - the damage to the car tells you that much."
The GTB is a speed machine, accelerating to 60 miles per hour from standstill in a phenomenal 3.7 seconds, while having a top speed of 205 miles per hour.
