As part of a UK tour, the pioneering Saab 9-5 saloon will debut at the MotorExpo 2010 in Canary Wharf, London, for a special preview. Two full-build preview models will be on display from 7-13 June 2010, one of which will be put in the elegant 'Saab Pod' and visitors can already order their 9-5 saloon from Saab dealerships in the UK.
"We're delighted to offer our customers an exclusive preview of the new Saab 9-5 at the MotorExpo. As one of the most important motor shows on the calendar, we wanted to give visitors to MotorExpo the opportunity to get their first glimpse of our most advanced, premium saloon and experience the full extent of its powerful presence prior to the national launch of the vehicle in July", said David Pugh, the marketing director of Saab Great Britain.
The 9-5 saloon is the most expressive vehicle ever in the Saab line up. Its typical Scandinavian look exudes emotional and functional strength through organic, natural shapes and lines. Among the advanced technologies available is the Saab XWD cross-wheel drive system giving improved stability, more agile cornering and faster acceleration providing drivers exciting motoring experience that matches the thrill of the Scandinavian design language of the Saab.
In addition to the top-notch driving system specifically designed for best driving performance, the 9-5 saloon hosts a list of high-tech specifications, to improve the motoring experience, including Bi-xenon smart beam headlights, adaptive parking assistance, keyless entry and an aircraft inspired HUD.
Pugh said that the introduction of the latest 9-5 marks a major and thrilling milestone in Saab's records. "Eye-catching design, powerful performance and driving excitement summarises our new flagship, and we're confident the new 9-5 will be a great success with our customers".
