Following a glitzy debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Czech Republic-based automobile manufacturer Skoda Auto announced prices of its new and improved Roomster and Fabia models.
With a whole heap of technical fine-tuning and a fresh face, both the Roomster MPV and Fabia supermini are more endearing than ever. Being produced by Skoda Auto, both coupes also exemplify what great value for cash means.
Skoda Roomsters price range starts from 11,260 pounds to 15,380 pounds, and the mini-car Fabia ranges from just 9,330 pounds to 14,895 pounds. All prices are inclusive of 1st April Road Fund Licence.
The cars new looks are very much evident in the 3D-shaped headlamps and redesigned radiator grille, which highlighted and widened the stronger horizontal line of both cars faces. As such, Roomster and Fabia have a more vibrant appearance, while maintaining their appeal and elegance.
The two cars also have a new array of engines, including two diesel and four petrol units, with power outputs of 60bhp to 105bhp. The majority of the new engines of Skoda benefit through direct fuel injection, while several models feature turbo charging technology.
The new design results to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption, as well as improvement in performance.
The vehicles engines meet the terms of Euro 5 emissions guidelines, with both of the 1.6 CR TDI units releasing below 110g/km of carbon dioxide.
Both Roomster and Fabia are available in Scout, SE, and S specifications. Also, the Fabia line-up is geared with Elegance trim levels.
