Spoilt child to be given a Vauxhall Corsa for his birthday
27 March 2009Despite currently not being old enough to pass his test, a young contender for Britain's most spoilt child is to receive a second car on his upcoming birthday.
Jordan Smith is soon to celebrate his 17th birthday and one of the gifts being bought for him by his mother is a new Vauxhall Corsa, the Daily Mail reports.
In all, the youngster is to receive gifts totalling around £20,000 and, not including this figure, he has already had over £52,000 spent on him in the past year.
Furthermore, the youngster was given a £5,000 Renault Clio for his birthday last year, a car that he is yet to drive because of his age.
Jordan's mother Suzanne told the newspaper: "It's a shame he's already bored of his Clio but he loves polishing it.
"And it wasn't a waste of money because it gave him the freedom to get out of the house - even if it was just to sit in it on the driveway with his friends."
Recent figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed that Vauxhall was the leading brand for UK car registrations in February.
