Subaru again proves its reliability
05 March 2009
The Subaru Impreza has completed another trouble-free year around the Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire.
Used car drivers looking for a reliable vehicle may wish to consider the Subaru Impreza as it has again proved itself around a challenging circuit.Since 2002, Subaru has regularly tested the reliability of the Impreza by allowing it to be used as a test vehicle around the Castle Combe Wiltshire track by the circuit's Racing School.
Over the past seven years, more than 12,000 test pilots have climbed inside the vehicles, completing a total of 56,000 laps and covering in excess of 105,000 miles.
The car in question is changed each year, but as of yet, not a single fault has been picked up on the vehicles, despite the demands of the punishing track, which is notoriously hard on cars.
John Fossey, brand director, Subaru (UK) Ltd, said: "We are very proud of the record of reliability our cars have built up at Castle Combe circuit over the past seven years and we are confident that our latest cars will achieve the next target with their usual spirited enthusiasm."
Rodney Gooch, sales & marketing director at the Castle Combe circuit, added that the Subaru is perfect as it is "fast, safe, reliable, grippy and fun".
