Subaru Auto has chosen the new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 as the only OE fitment on the new Cosworth Impreza STI CS400.

Product of the partnership between Cosworth and Subaru UK, the limited edition hatchback uses the outstanding combination of Michelin Pilot Sport 3's ecological features and on-road performance.

The Pilot Sport 3 is a high-performance asymmetric tyre that delivers high-levels grip on dry and wet roads. Turning on wet roads has been enhanced and it stops three metres shorter compared to its predecessor, the Michelin Pilot Sport tyre. It also provides very accurate steering for a pleasant driving experience, in addition to that, it also boasts of extended mileage and outstanding fuel efficiency among its other qualities.

The Subaru Cosworth Impreza gets an 18" rims and 245/40 ZR 18 (97Y) Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres.

This newest addition to the car tyre range of Michelin is an excellent illustration of market strategy of the Group, which is "never to sacrifice one performance feature for another". This means recuperating performance simultaneously in several different sites, a prerequisite to business progress. To attain this strategy, the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 has been produced with unique, top-notch technologies such as Programmed Distortion tyre structure, the Anti Surf System and the Green Power Compound, which are all developed at the Technology Centre of Michelin near the city of Clermont Ferrand in France.

Designed for a wide array of car ranges, the Pilot Sport 3 best suits large, powerful saloons, small sports cars like the coupé and the roadsters and sporty hatchbacks like the Cosworth Impreza.
