Suzuki Alto an option for the cost-cutting motorist
20 March 2009
Motorists looking for a city car that is cheap to run have been told of the positives of the Suzuki Alto.
Used car fans looking for a vehicle to glide through the traffic of busy city streets may want to look into the Suzuki Alto, a reviewer has argued.Writing for the Telegraph, Farah Alkhalisi states that the Alto is "very much a city car", with its "pint-sized" structure helping it to comfortably make its way through traffic.
Ms Alkhalisi also reveals that the vehicle is easy to park, while also being large enough to seat four large adults, while those in the rear will also benefit from a decent amount of head room.
The amount of CO2 generated is also environmentally-friendly at 103g/km, while motorists can achieve 51.4 miles per gallon of fuel.
However, she added that because the focus of the vehicle is to be a cheap entry-level car, this has led to the inclusion of some low quality cabin plastics and the abolition of a glove box.
Car Magazine stated in its review of the Alto that it is "downright cheap to run", while also being affordable to buy.
