Manchester United footballer Carlos Tevez has had his Bentley towed away be police.
The used Bentley of Manchester United footballer Carlos Tevez has been seized by police after it was discovered that he didn't have a full UK driving licence.Police originally pulled over the Argentinean striker near junction seven of the M60 because the tinted windows on his £140,000 white Bentley Continental GT Speed were too dark.
However, the officer then discovered the problems with the 24-year-olds licence, meaning the vehicle was towed to a nearby police compound.
Tevez was saved from the problem of walking home by Old Trafford teammate Patrice Evra.
He now faces prosecution for his law-breaking act.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman explained: "When asked to provide his documentation, it was discovered the driver did not have a full UK driving licence and he was advised to arrange removal of the car."
The spokesman added that when Tevez said he couldn't do this the Bentley was removed under Section 165 of Road Traffic Act 1988.
In 2007, Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo was fined by police for having blacked out windows on his Bentley convertible.
