The Korean carmaker, Kia is extending the benefits of the UK scrappage scheme with the introduction of the 7 Year Switch, giving owners of seven-year-old cars the option to trade up their old vehicles with a new Kia model, plus taking home a seven-year warranty and savings of up to 2,000 pounds.

Once again were giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia, said Kia Motors (UK) Ltd Managing Director Michael Cole. We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms across the whole of the UK and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe - seven years and 100,000 miles.

With the 7 Year Switch, customers have the chance to purchase a Kia pro_ceed, ceed, ceed SW, or Soul, while saving 2,000 pounds. Alternatively they can save 1,500 pounds and buy a Kia Rio, Venga, or Picanto.

The Kia Soul is an urban-friendly model combining practicality and unique styling. New Kia buyers could take home a brand new Kia Soul for as low as 9,495 pounds.

Meanwhile, the new Kia Venga hit the UK in February and is the latest Kia compact model to offer all-new design and interior practicality.

The compact Picanto offers state-of-the-art practicality in a mini-sized package. Also, with Kias 7 Year Switch scheme, it only costs 5,135 pounds on-the-road.

Kias 7 Year Switch works like the Governments scrappage scheme. It is open to owners with cars between seven and 10-year-old and bearing a valid MOT certificate.

The 7 Year Switch deal comes to an end on 31st March at participating dealers.
