Upgrades available for V8 Vantage owners

Following the release of the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage, owners of the older model can pick up some upgrades.
Owners of the original Aston Martin V8 Vantage model are now able to receive some upgrades to their vehicle.Following the launch of the new 4.7-litre Vantage earlier this year, customers of the 4.3-litre model are now able to upgrade their engines.
A power upgrade will allow owners to increase their top speed to 177mph, while a slight improvement on the time it takes the vehicle to accelerate to 60mph from standstill will also be witnessed.
As well as this development under the bonnet, further improvements could be witnessed in the chassis.
A Sports Pack option will be introduced, which comprises of uprated springs and Bilstein dampers to offer improved dynamic response.
The handling of the vehicle will also be improved by the potential inclusion of five-spoke wheels.
Aston Martin released the V8 Vantage Roadster in 2006, alongside the V8 Vantage N24 GT4.
In a review of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage for the Times, Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson stated that the sound of the vehicle alone was a good enough reason for a used car driver to buy the car.
