Used car buyers may be tempted to follow example of police
05 October 2009
Mazda has claimed its cars are proving popular with British police forces.
Motorists looking for a used car may be tempted to consider a Mazda model after hearing about the organisations that place their trust in the manufacturer. The company has revealed its autos are in demand with police forces across the UK.
In addition, the vehicles are also being used by government agencies like HM Revenue and Customs, as well as NHS Trust ambulance fleets and fire brigades.
When it comes to the police, the manufacturer said forces are currently using its models for undercover operations but it is hopeful they may start employing them as blue light cars in the future.
Jason Jenkins from the company said there are a number of reasons its autos have proved a hit.
He stated: "Police forces and other organisations like Mazda vehicles because they are a sporty drive and have first-class reliability."
Meanwhile, the manufacturer sold more cars in Scotland last month than ever before.
