Used cars to benefit from new surface protectant
29 April 2009
A new car surface protectant has been released, which is believed to be able to restore and protect a vehicle's exterior.
Motorists who would normally buy new cars but are forced for the first time into the used market as a result of the recession have been advised that there are measures they can take to make their second-hand model look brand new.Automotive surface care product manufacturer Meguiar's has introduced Supreme Shine Protectant, a potion aimed at restoring and protecting car surfaces.
The company has claimed that the product, which comprises UV blockers to prevent sun damage, is the best way to "transform the appearance of a car's dashboard, trim, door panels, plastic bumpers and tyres".
It added: "The spray [results] in a deeper colour and rich hi-shine finish."
Meanwhile, those looking for the best deal on a used car should rest assured that now is a good time to buy.
According to CAP Black Book, the used car-pricing benchmark trade guide, stability has finally returned to the market, after months of volatility in terms of record high second-hand car values.
