Used Chryslers may become more common
09 October 2009
Chrysler has released its UK sales figures for September.
There may be a significant growth in the number of used Chrysler models coming onto the market in the coming years, if recent figures are anything to go by.According to the group, its latest sales and marketing campaigns appear to be doing the trick in the UK.
During September, the company saw new car registrations increase by 16.8 per cent compared to the same month in 2008.
It pointed out this is 11.4 per cent higher than overall UK new auto sales growth.
Managing director Federico Goretti said: "These September figures are a tribute to the hard work put in by our dealer network and everyone connected with Chrysler."
The group's most popular model during the month was the Dodge Journey, which sold 432 units.
Increasing new car sales may be welcomed by motorists who tend to opt for used Chrysler autos, as it should mean the number of second-hand vehicles coming onto the market in the coming years is higher too.
